- Common sense and wisdom rule always, but especially when it comes to spending
City money. - Pragmatism over politics. I’m an Independent who is untethered by either side.
- Listening and learning are essential. So is speaking up when it’s critical.
- Opinions matter whether I agree with them or not. They need to be heard and valued.
- Small business matters. I am a long-time downtown business owner and this perspective needs to be heard.
- Energy and enthusiasm aren’t corny, they’re cool.
- Fresh thinking is valuable when it’s informed. My roots here are deep, but I’m new to government. That’s an advantage.
- Being active, approachable and available is part of the job. I’m all three, and people are my passion
